Story
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rayudu (Ajay Purkara) is getting his daughter married, while Telangana Chief Minister Ranjit Reddy (Sharat Lohitashva) is bringing his son to marry her. Due to this, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is enraged. Supari killers are preparing to attack the Telangana Chief Minister to settle scores. However, they have a common enemy in Rudrakanti Bhaskar (Ram), who is determined to foil their plans. Bhaskar's intentions are known to be against the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Bhaskar sneaks into the house of the Telangana Chief Minister but ends up taking away the daughter of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister as well. It is then revealed that his ultimate goal is something else, and he has targeted both Chief Ministers of the two states. What happens next is a different story altogether.

Synopsis-
Analysis: Boyapati Srinu is synonymous with "complete masala cinema," as the audience has come to expect. In his storyline and characterizations, he spares no extravagance, and the audience must watch his films without reservation. In the same vein, Skanda also joins the ranks.

From the "Skanda" movie's very first teaser, it becomes evident that this could be Boyapati's trademark film. In the second trailer, a scene in which Ram wields a sword and takes on the villains, the impact is felt, and it is as if this is a Boyapati trademark movie.

However, the clarity comes with the third trailer when, amidst all the expectations and stunts, a scene shows a tractor being toppled with a bike in a 360-degree rotation. With this scene, clarity dawns upon the audience about the feast awaiting them. Without the constraints of logic and with no reservations about continuity, "Skanda" seems to cater to the audience who love over-the-top elevations, village mass action scenes, and adrenaline-pumping stunts.

Without any concerns for logic or relationships, for those who live for over-the-top elevations, village mass action scenes, and adrenaline-pumping stunts, "Skanda" appears to be the ultimate choice. Thus, for those seeking something new in the story, their focus should be on the characterizations and their involvement in the film. "Skanda" is Boyapati's mass movie with a twist.

Rather than trying to travel in time through new elements in the storyline, those who focus on the nuances of characterizations and their impact will find that "Skanda" is Boyapati's mass movie with a twist. Ram, with his energy, seems to have successfully carved a niche for himself in this attempt to entertain through "Skanda."

Cast: Ram impresses in his role, portraying a masala character with ease. Take, for example, his performance in "Ismart Shankar." In "Skanda," Boyapati Srinu pushes Ram to his limits as a mass character, and he has worked hard to fit into this role. His look and screen presence align perfectly with the character. Ram hasn't ventured into such a high-voltage mass movie role in his career for quite some time. His energy syncs well with Boyapati's trademark style, delighting the fans with intense fights and dance sequences.

Heroine Shrileela has been molded into an idol for a celebration sequence, while the other heroine, Sai Manjrekar, doesn't bring much novelty with her appearance but still fits the part. Daggubati Raj and Shrikant have performed well, and the villains Ajay Purkara and Sharat Lohitashva, although quite typical in their roles, manage to leave an impact. It's not clear why Gautami, in her brief appearance, was included in the film. Her character doesn't contribute significantly to the narrative. Overall, Boyapati has done a commendable job in directing Ram.

Please note that the English translation of the character names may not be accurate, as they are primarily transliterations of the original Telugu names.
